    Position Summary:

    The Creative Director will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the creative vision of SIG SAUER. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this individual will lead the internal creative team in producing compelling marketing materials across various channels. The Creative Director will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing collateral aligns with our brand identity and effectively communicates our key messages to our target audience. The Creative Director will work in collaboration with the Brand Management team to ensure creative projects are planned and executed on-brand, on-time and on-budget. This role is critical in ensuring SIG SAUER maintains a high level of project output from the team and maintains brand standards and consistency throughout the organization.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Prioritize work and resources across projects, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop schedules by leading and managing the team of art directors, designers, copywriters, and production designers.
    • Provide oversight, guidance and creative review of the internal creative team to ensure a high degree of creative output and efficiency within the team as well as ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively.
    • Improve quality and efficiency of team by evaluating, re-designing, and implementing processes as needed while improving costs.
    • Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects, harnessing brand design, copy, art, and digital technology.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with and manage outside agencies as needed.
    • Collaborate with sales, channel marketing and brand management teams in developing marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities.
    • Work collaboratively to develop internal marketing campaigns that translate objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies.
    • Must be able to travel as needed (<20%)
    • Participates in and sustains 5S Standards. (Director Level: *Manages, participates in and sustains 5S Standards)
    • Engages in and actively volunteers for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.

    Education/Experience & Skills:

    • 5+ years' experience as a creative leader within an agency and/or internal creative department.
    • 3+ years' experience managing creative and/or internal teams, providing technical and creative oversight along with management and mentorship.
    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop and Microsoft office.
    • A thorough understanding of design-related processes including photography, retouching, production, and printing.
    • High level of design, creativity.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Exceptional time management, organizational and planning skills are needed to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Experience in creating marketing/advertising deliverables - from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget.
    • Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
    • Proven ability to develop successful concepts.
    • Proficiency in leading a team of diverse, talented creatives.
    • Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives.

    Working Conditions:

    • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
    • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. security mandates.
    • Travel as needed (<20%)
