We are looking for dedicated and alert community patrol specialist unarmed to maintain the safety of our property during the overnight hours. In this position, your duties will include performing vehicle and foot patrol of the community along with door checks.

To ensure success, you should demonstrate experience in a similar role and the ability to assess security concerns. A top-notch specialist will be someone who can be relied upon and dependable to take proactive steps in maintaining a safe and secure community for the residents.

Responsibilities:

Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.

Performing access control procedures on vehicles and people.

Patrolling the buildings and perimeters of the property.

Informing people of security procedures, as well as acting upon non-compliance.

Investigating suspicious activities and disturbances.

Immediately reporting security breaches to patrol supervisors.

Performing maintenance checks on security systems and equipment.

Documenting observations and surveillance activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver's license.

Experience preferred but paid training provided.

Knowledge of deterring illegal activity and performing access control.

Knowledge of security industry regulations.

Experience in documenting security procedures and observations.

Ability to inform people of security procedures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Starting hourly pay rate of $16.00 per hour with pay advancement in 90 days with successful review.
