- Do high level calculations after another engineer has pulled equipment data and performed building modeling
- Identify potential energy conservation upgrades.
- Perform detailed analyses of costs and savings
- Develop preliminary designs and estimates of cost and energy saving opportunities at customer's facilities.
- Provide technical and implementation recommendations to the customer
- Support sales team in developing and presenting energy savings proposals to customers
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC
- Preferred experience: the evaluation of energy conservation projects with technical solutions
- Professional Engineering (PE) registration, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and/or LEED Accreditation.
- Experience with industry modeling software programs, such as Carrier Hourly Analysis Program, eQuest, and/or Trane Trace.
- Experience in developing energy conservation projects involving renewable energy technologies, large prime movers such as combustion turbines, biomass, and landfill gas facilities.
