    Program Systems Specialist

    $72, $115,094.00

    The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Program Systems Specialist. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Education Cluster (EC), University of the District of Columbia (UDC). The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and supporting all systems and system enhancements, with special focus on Banner, the OCFO/UDC new financial system.

    Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for basic system related issues.
  • Provide support to management.
  • Troubleshoot problems and address answers.
  • Coordinate and deliver end user training; and prepare reports and studies for evaluation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Two (2) years of progressive experience performing related duties and responsibilities such as: maintaining and supporting a Banner ERP or similar enterprise student information system. Experience conducting system analysis, generating system reports, and providing training and technical support to end users . Knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and related database applications used to retrieve information. Bachelor's degree preferred.
