Job summary
We have an exciting opening for an Engineering Intern in Carson. This position includes participation in the design and evaluation of product development processes for both new and existing components or a system of components to provide improvements in cost enhance performance create and conduct product testing procedures or improve manufacturability using fundamental principles of mechanical electrical industrial or other engineering disciplines.Responsibilities include acquiring knowledge of the engineering department's operations functions responsibilities and workflow observing work assignments performed by others actively participating in hands-on projects and/or special assignments using engineering skills to conduct analysis modeling engage in product design develop execute testing procedures participate in product development engineering work maintaining regular communication with leader to provide feedback on departmental assignments program improvements attending related training if provided applying training in work assignments performing other related responsibilities.
