- Integrate and enter core log data into a database as part of an MGS/USGS funded project in support of critical minerals work.
- Interpret geologic terminology and symbology.
- Learn core logging principals and multiple core logging methods.
- Use ArcGIS for collection of core locations.
- Coursework for geology or geology-related degree. Mineralogy, petrology, and stratigraphy are required.
- Understanding of geologic terminology.
- Knowledge of methods of field collection of geologic data.
- Experience with ArcGIS and Microsoft Office software.

Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Geological Survey, Geological Survey Program, and will be located at 111 Fairgrounds Road, Rolla, MO 65401.
