Job Application for Associate Origination Marketing Proposals at Clearway Energy

What The Role Is

The Associate Origination Marketing Proposals is an integral position on the Clearway Origination Team. The Origination Team consists of 15 professionals leading the front end of Clearway's renewable development business. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and industry advisors, tracking and reporting pricing and product trends, collaborating with internal subject matter experts, and crafting competitive proposals to secure revenue agreements for each of Clearway's projects. The Associate Origination Marketing Proposals is responsible for creating written proposals on Clearway's solar, wind, and storage development projects, managing key project data, updating presentation materials, collaborating with Origination team members on developing power marketing strategies, and tracking key market trends.

Additionally, the Associate assists in monthly forecasting of customer agreements, financial data, and contract terms. Reporting to the Senior Director Origination Marketing Contract Administration, the Associate works directly with all Origination team members and acts as a liaison with multiple cross-functional groups including Development, Business Development, External Affairs, Communications, Strategy, and Asset Management. This position offers exposure to various functions within Clearway and provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience to grow within Origination or the broader Clearway organization.

What You'll Be Doing

**Proposal Management** (60% of the role)
Average 1-2 Proposals due per week
Manage and create proposals to support Clearway's Origination efforts
Read and interpret RFP requirements
Maintain and update a central repository of proposal templates
Format proposal documents and create graphics, maps, and images
**Origination Marketing**
Collaborate on customer-related marketing activities
Support planning and execution of customer events
Investigate key insights and market trends
**Contract Reporting**
Assist in tracking and reporting of newly executed customer agreements
Explore platforms to improve reporting efficiency

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in technical writing, content creation, proposal management, or relevant coursework
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for renewable energy
Meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Superior organizational, time management, and planning skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Willingness to travel on a quarterly basis
Expertise with Microsoft Office

Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position
Salary Range: $71,000 - $93,000 USD
