As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the core operational business processes as it relates to our ERP and supporting users in the delivery of these processes.

The person in this role is part of the team that is the primary IT resource and subject matter experts to internal ERP users in both the business and technical operations of DXP.

Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical and functional support for systems including:

Epicor
Coupa
Infor
Other homegrown applications

Be able to build a strong capacity for understanding, developing, documenting, and implementing business processes
Support and train users on system and business processes
Manage assigned small projects through the entirety of a project life cycle
Remain engaged and flexible through a branch/department rotation program
Quickly function as a valuable resource and maintain a critical eye for potential process improvements or automation opportunities

Qualifications of the Business Systems Analyst include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, or similar
Experience in Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related industry is a strong qualifier
Experience with ERP systems, specifically Prophet 21 (P21) is a strong qualifier
Basic SQL query writing skills
Strong analytical skills
Detail oriented and strong documentation skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and accuracy
Ability to travel as needed
Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines

Typically Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm but could vary based on rotation schedule, minimal overtime
