    We are looking for a Customer Service Technical Representativeto join the Kaiser Aluminum Warrick team outside of Evansville IndianaThe position reports to the Customer and Product Quality Assurance (CPQA) Manager.

    The technical service organization has responsibility for providing customer technical service for can-sheet products produced at Warrick Operations.
    This position interacts with both plant personnel and customers to resolve technical issues related to products.

    The position leads efforts to problem solve product performance issues and to determine root cause and provides information to the manufacturing locations to facilitate root cause problem-solving.

    In addition, this position is an advocate and change agent for product changes that increase customer satisfaction and/or reduce operating costs.

    What you will work on:
    Identify, drive, and/or facilitate product changes through commercialization.
    Works with customers during process upset conditions; minimize financial impact.
    Resolve customer quality issues efficiently and process claims.

    Leads and/or participates in effective root cause problem-solving Identifies, evaluates, and/or implements initiatives that result in win-win for Kaiser and the customer.

    Establishes relationships at various levels at customer plants.

    Aluminum manufacturing knowledgeCan and Lid making knowledge preferredData analysis and problem solving skills Rigid Container Sheet (RCS) manufacturing process knowledgeRCS metallurgy knowledgeStrong communications, both written and verbalInterpersonal astutenessNegotiations skillsHS Diploma/GED

    Additional Information:
    The incumbent will travel extensively - can be as high as 70% of the time. Travel may be required with very little notice.
