Position Summary
We are seeking a
licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
to support our outpatient rehabilitation clinic in
The Woodlands, Texas . This role will primarily assist with coverage for multiple
FML leave periods , and scheduling flexibility is available to accommodate clinic needs.
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence, mobility, and quality of life.
Pediatric outpatient experience is strongly preferred , though therapists with relevant clinical backgrounds will also be considered.Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve functional performance and daily living skills
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercise programs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Ensure compliance with clinic policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
from an accredited program
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
One of the following:
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
in
pediatrics, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine , OR
Completion of a 1-year residency
in
pediatrics, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric outpatient experience
Experience working in a multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation setting
Strong communication and patient-education skills
Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining quality care
Additional Information
Position requires
onsite patient care
Remote access may be used for documentation completion when needed
Schedule flexibility available due to coverage needs during FML leave periods
