The United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) is a major command of the United States Army headquartered at Fort Eustis, Virginia. It is charged with overseeing the training of Army forces and the development of operational doctrine. TRADOC recruits, trains, educates, develops, and builds the Army, establishes standards, drives improvement, and leads change to ensure the Army can deter, fight, and win on any battlefield now and into the future. TRADOC (United States Army Training and Doctrine Command) has a large number of applications that are preparing to move to a new cloud environment. This role will focus on the evaluation of these applications and contribute to the modernization of these applications as they migrate to the new cloud environment. In the case that an application is ready to move to the new environment, this role will facilitate a "lift and shift" alongside cloud engineers also a part of the TCASS team.

This role will be acting based on requirements from stakeholders (Government, Vendors, Contractors) at varying levels and gathering information based on their needs. Our personnel working on TCASS (TRADOC Cloud and Ancillary Support Services) are drivers of innovation and efficiency, we want any new member of the team to have the same mindset. Create or modify applications based on direction from the Software Architect.

• Prioritize and estimate workload based on story points.

• Work with Software Architect to determine level of effort required for a feature, user story, or task

• Ensure modernization efforts are following cARMY guidelines

• Work with Data Management team to ensure successful cloud data structure/access for migrated applications

• Create Releases/Pipelines

• Assist in evaluate of applications/tools readiness level for Cloud environments

• Build out functionality for Reporting status

• Participate in the Software Testing Process

• BA/BS or AA/AS in a relevant field with 5 to 7 years of experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience (with BA/BS). 7+ years experience (with AA).

• Power Platforms experience is required (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc)

• PowerBi experience, Power Query, SPFx experience highly desirable

• Tracking work in tools such as Azure DevOps (Boards)

• Experience participating in Kanban or Scrum ceremonies a plus

• Familiarity with Azure : IL2 and IL4 environments

• Willingness to learn and grow as part of a team driving innovation for our customer

• Communication Skills - Ability to interface with leadership and communicate status of projects.

• Team-centric mindset - The right candidate will work to empower the team by communicating and contributing in a meaningful way.

• Nice to have: .NET, C#, ASP,

• Documentation skills - views documentation as a necessity throughout the life of the project
