    Responsibilities

    Suzanne Calvert and Associates, in-house counsel, is seeking to fill an Attorney opening. We hire the best employees to serve our customers, making us a leader in the insurance and financial services industry.

    Our office is located in downtown Dallas.

    Our employees are considered hybrid employees – spending some time working in the office and some time working remotely.

    You will manage a caseload independently and proactively move files from inception to resolution in an insurance defense environment.

    You are resourceful and have a strong work ethic with the ability to independently manage cases from answer to trial while providing superior customer service.

    You are an excellent communicator, with exceptional organization skills, and adept with technology.

    Qualifications
    • Must have a law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
    • Must have active license to practice law in Texas and be a member in good standing with the bar
    • 2+ years litigation experience in Texas, preferably in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and surrounding counties
    • First chair trial experience preferred
    • Insurance Defense experience preferred
    • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
    • Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required
