    Essential Job Duties

    • Review social history, psychological, medical, and previous therapy reports/records.
    • Interview individuals/caregivers to discuss and establish needs.
    • Administer appropriate tests and evaluations to determine functional level and potential.
    • Complete all evaluations, documentation, and billing within specified timelines.
    • Communicate information to team members and contribute to treatment plan development.
    • Make referrals or recommendations for therapy and/or equipment.
    • Develop treatment plans based on evaluation results and team input.
    • Conduct individual and/or group sessions within the clinic to work on specific objectives.
    • Communicate program changes to ensure consistency and reinforcement among team members.
    • Modify treatment and equipment as needed to align with progress and development.
    • Utilize appropriate methods to address inappropriate behavior/responses.
    • Provide counseling to individuals, parents, and/or family members on treatment programs and home programming.
    • Ensure therapy orders are up to date throughout treatment duration.
    • Conduct in-service training for staff on treatment materials and techniques.
    • Utilize current technology effectively with clients.
    • Handle assigned caseload to meet daily operational requirements.
    • Responsible for maintaining client records as required by law and licensing regulations.
    • This position emphasizes safety.
    • This job description covers essential duties, and additional related tasks may be assigned by supervisors and management.

    Hours: Monday-Friday varies

    Pay: BOE

    Qualification Requirements: An individual must be capable of performing essential duties satisfactorily and meet the following requirements:

    Education and/or Experience: Must hold a Speech Language Pathology degree and possess or obtain an Arkansas State License for therapy practice. Registration with the National Board for Certification in Speech Language Pathology is required.

    Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend various communication forms. Proficiency in presenting information professionally and effectively to diverse audiences.

    Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and accurately document client performance.

    Reasoning Ability: Proficiency in problem-solving and handling various instructions effectively.

    Physical Demands: The role requires physical capabilities to perform essential job functions, including lifting and moving objects and maintaining specific vision abilities.
