    Job Title Supplier Quality Engineer Job Description

    Be responsible for achieving a state of high quality performance at our Supplier partners and pursuing continuous quality improvement through the application of Quality Engineering practices on Philips

    products/parts/services procured from suppliers throughout the product lifecycle including sustaining change management.

    Your role:
    Accountable for making Additions/Changes/Deletion to Approved Suppliers including the analysis and onboarding of potential new suppliers

    Analysis of defects for determining if supplier caused and working with supplier on root cause / corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence through the Supplier Corrective Action (SCAR) process.

    APQP plan development, execution, monitoring, and control as part of Sustaining Changes.
    Supplier performance monitoring, reporting, improvement, and development.
    Accountable for Supplier quality risk assessment and mitigation.
    Assess and coordinate Supplier Change Requests, Support Supplier audit schedule development, execution, and maintenance.
    Plan and lead supplier audits to applicable standards for example ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
    Support internal and external audits of Philips processes as required
    Lead supplier improvement projects

    You're the right fit if:
    You've acquired 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality or procurement engineering experience, medical device industry preferred

    Your skills include strong technical problem-solving skills, six sigma certification preferred; understanding of electrical component, cable/connectors, PCBA, FCA, Acoustic materials experience preferred; ability to work on assignments of high complexity where analysis of situations/data requires evaluation of new factors, ability to apply judgment in selecting methods and techniques

    You have a Bachelor degree in engineering

    You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this

    You're an effective decision maker, you have the ability to influence without authority, deals while with ambiguity, resolves problems independently but able to clearly communicate as part of a team, data and detailed oriented, ability to travel 20% of the time
