The Mechanical Engineer ensures the design intent is being captured, utilizing the most efficient means and systems within the prescribed budget, meeting LEED and Title 24 criteria.

Responsibilities:
Manage internal and external mechanical design efforts, keep teams on schedule, code compliant, while being mindful of project budget.
Represent the mechanical design portion of project meetings as required.
Review outside engineering scopes and contracts.
Manage system and equipment selections, coordinate design requirements with project team, VDC team, and other design partners.
Be a resource for estimating with regards to system selections, unit costs, and constructability to assist with budget pricing for pursuits as well as budget updates for projects under contract.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of related mechanical engineering experience with a Mechanical Engineering firm, HVAC contractor, or industry related role required; commercial/industrial experience.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment with very tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and efficient.
BS in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineering Stamp preferred.
