    Description

    CV/CT Surgery, First Assist

    Plano, Texas

    Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospital is looking for an experienced First Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiology Department focusing on cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries in Plano, Texas.

    Opportunity Highlights:

    • Schedule: Monday - Friday
    • No floor or clinic duties - OR only
    • First Assist
    • Experience in vein harvesting required

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Graduate of an accredited program
    • NPs require RNFA certifications
    • Must have Cardiology and OR experience

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

    • Current certification by NCCPA or AANPCB
    • Unrestricted Texas PA or NP CNP license, RN, or RNFA certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

    • EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience Preferred
