- Assess, plan, organize, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet the patient's needs.
- Promote adaptive responses of patients and families for the highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies as per policy.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise the care plan based upon the patient's response.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary personnel, and interdisciplinary team members, and proactively resolve patient needs.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making regarding evidence-based practice.
- Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs to improve the departmental and organizational quality and safety.
- Schedule Details: Full-time, Night shift, 1.0 or .9 FTE, every other weekend, every other holiday.
- Self-scheduling available to allow for flexible scheduling.
- Free weekends provided where you can work during the week instead of the scheduled weekend.
- Unit Details: Advanced Acute Care Orthopaedics (HFAM6) - private room, post-surgical care, mostly orthopedic, medical/surgical, telemetry unit offering a challenging and professional work environment.
