    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med Surg, General Surgery 3W

    This position is on a General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit. Mercy Hospital South Kennerly Rd, St.


    Schedule:
    Full-Time | 36 hours/week

    Shift:
    Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

    Sign-On Bonus:
    Up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers

    Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) .

    Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
    High school diploma or GED equivalent

    Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

    • Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
    • New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome
    LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)

    Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

    • Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance
