**Description**

Musco Sports Lighting is currently seeking Assemblers to work at our Specialty Manufacturing facility in Oskaloosa, IA. Individuals selected for this role will be responsible for working as part of a high-performing team to manufacture Musco products and solutions. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to the assembly of mechanical and electrical components, material handling & packaging of products. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**

Operate light hand tools and powered equipment to aid in the assembly of mechanical/electrical components, material handling & packaging of the product.

Connect components, lead wires, or route wire harnesses between individual components through the use of connectors, terminals, and contact points

Read and understand production documents and assembly prints

Follow work instructions to exercise Poka-Yoke processes & procedures, perform necessary bar code scans throughout the assembly process for quality assurance and component tracking

Maintain workstation inventory utilizing the Kanban inventory management system

Perform routine quality tests of product using test equipment and visual work checks to identify issues and make necessary repairs

Identify product defects and complete red tag documentation, report all quality concerns to a supervisor

Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements:**

A high school diploma or GED is required

**Job Specifications:**

Ability to read and understand detailed written work instructions

Dexterity to assemble small parts

Strong mechanical aptitude

Basic understanding of computer navigation

High level of focus and attention to detail

Ability to work in a team environment

Strong communication skills

Ability to lift at least 25 lbs

**Work Schedule:** Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm, Overtime on Friday as required
