- Demonstrates a strong commitment to all aspects of safety.
- Repair and maintenance work on heavy truck chassis and hydraulic aerial devices.
- Some welding and minor body repair.
- Operate trucks, recovery equipment, cranes, and hydraulic equipment safely.
- ASE truck certification is strongly preferred.
- Must have thorough working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of diesel engines and hydraulic aerial devices.
- Knowledge to diagnose equipment problems encountered, make necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Must be available for emergency call-in as needed.
- Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License or the ability to acquire a Class A Driver's License within six months of hire.
