    Job DescriptionOur client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer for a 18 Month Contract opportunity .

    Position Description Directing and coordinating fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems.

    Ensuring that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process. Overseeing installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems. Evaluating mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency. Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.

    Job Requirements REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with background in Medical Device highly preferred Minimum of 3-5 years in a Mechanical Engineering role.

    This is a mid level experience role. No Sr. ME's or Jr ME's will be considered.
    SolidWorks Software experience highly preferred - Some travel requirements (2-3 times during the 18 months) to WI or CA Excellent problem solving and analytical skills High level of attention to detail and organizationExperience with gathering data and creating reports Candidates with Medical Device Background will be given preference
