Purpose
You will provide piping engineering services to Worley, and its Customers and may provide technical support and supervision within the piping team.
As Piping Engineer, you will be directly involved in the engineering and design of our current and future projects, contributing to bids, and developing broader technical solutions for the business.
Your main responsibilities will be:
·
Develop design packages for projects from feasibility studies, through to detailed design
·
Piping engineering and design services include, but are not limited to:
ensure safety in design is achieved
develop and/or support 3D Detailed Design, model reviews, 2D Isometric Design, Pipe Stressing Requirements, piping documentation including Line list, Schedules, Specifications and preparation of PED Technical Files.
pipe supports design, selection and materials
participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow the required checking procedures
working together with engineering delivery teams based in multiple countries/regions
provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
Ensuring that work complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of delivery is maintained.
Qualifications:Experience and Qualifications
Some of the main requirements are:
·
Track record and technical knowledge in complex multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in the industrial sector, power generation, conventional and alternative energy, oil and gas, chemicals, mining, etc.
Understanding and knowledge of various types of piping materials is essential
·
Understanding and working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices
·
Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams, good communication skills.
·
At least Bachelor's degree in respective Engineering discipline
·
5+ years of relevant experience
Special Job Requirements
·
A working knowledge of AutoCAD, 2D and 3D Modelling, ASME, ISO and EN piping codes, PED regulations
·
Czech or Slovak language is a must
·
Working level of English, especially technical
