    AMAZING opportunity for a BILINGUAL Financial Reporting Senior in Miami (Coral Gables)

    Responsibilities


    Assist with the preparation of the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K and manage the internal and external review for these documents.

    Manage XBRL reporting.

    Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance and assist with providing US GAAP interpretation and preparing technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner.

    Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team.
    Manage communications with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
    Coordinate annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.

    Maintain on-going SOX documentation and manage the coordination of the interim and annual internal controls (SOX) audits with internal audit consultants.

    Prepare the quarterly stock-based compensation reporting schedules.
    Support month-end and year-end closing.
    Participate in other projects, as required.

    Qualifications and

    Strongly Preferred Skill Requirements:
    BS degree in accounting
    CPA with 3+ years of experience with exposure to SEC and financial reporting.
    Preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm.

    An excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations is required combined with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues.


    Preferred Skills and Experience:
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
    Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    Excellent oral and communication skills
