    Job Description:
    Play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, uninterrupted operation, and electrochemical performance testing of battery cells and modules. This position requires hands-on skills, a creative approach, and troubleshooting mindset in order to execute maintenance processes effectively.


    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and troubleshoot electrochemical test instruments and electromechanical equipment for duration of active tests to maximize total availability of test systems.
    • Log maintenance activities, and document findings and testing metrics for performance traceability.
    • Decommission electrochemical devices and associated test stands at end of life.
    • Safely handle corrosive materials and follow instructions to properly use and dispose of them.
    • Set up and maintain electromechanical test stands and equipment.
    • Assist in keeping documentation up to date.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in equipment maintenance or manufacturing.
    • Electrical/software aptitude
    • Familiarity with common electrical, HVAC, and plumbing components such as fuses, power supplies, fans, pumps, valves, etc.
    • Knowledge of chemical and electrical safety practices
    • NFPA 70E training a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electromechanical issues.
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
    • Willingness to work at least part time Saturdays and Sundays.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Excellent communication skills

    Descripción del trabajo:


    Desempeña un papel crucial para garantizar la confiabilidad, el funcionamiento ininterrumpido y las pruebas de rendimiento electroquímico de las celdas y módulos de la batería.

    Este puesto requiere habilidades prácticas, un enfoque creativo y una mentalidad de resolución de problemas para ejecutar los procesos de mantenimiento de manera efectiva.


    Responsabilidades:

    • Mantiene y soluciona problemas de instrumentos de prueba electroquímica y equipo electromecánico durante la duración de las pruebas activas para maximizar la disponibilidad total de los sistemas de prueba.
    • Registrar actividades de mantenimiento y documentar hallazgos y métricas de prueba para la trazabilidad del desempeño.
    • Desmantelamiento de dispositivos electroquímicos y bancos de pruebas asociados al final de su vida útil.
    • Manipule con seguridad materiales corrosivos y siga las instrucciones para usarlos y eliminarlos adecuadamente.
    • Montar y mantener bancos y equipos de pruebas electromecánicas.
    • Ayudar a mantener la documentación al día.

    Requisitos:

    • Experiencia comprobada en mantenimiento o fabricación de equipos.
    • Aptitud eléctrica/software.
    • Familiaridad con componentes eléctricos, HVAC y de plomería comunes, como fusibles, fuentes de alimentación, ventiladores, bombas, válvulas, etc.
    • Conocimiento de prácticas de seguridad química y eléctrica.
    • La capacitación NFPA 70E es una ventaja.
    • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.
    • Capacidad para colaborar eficazmente con equipos multifuncionales.
    • Capacidad para solucionar una variedad de problemas electromecánicos.
    • Competente en lectura e interpretación de dibujos y especificaciones de ingeniería.
    • Capacidad para prosperar en un entorno de inicio acelerado.
    • Disposición para trabajar al menos a tiempo parcial los sábados y domingos.
    • Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras.
