    The Project Manager will have full responsibility for managing the development and production of all architectural aspects of a multi-discipline project.

    This includes overseeing the creation of drawings, specifications, and conducting code reviews independently. Additionally, the Project Manager will facilitate effective communication with other disciplines, contractors, and subcontractors.

    A crucial aspect of the role involves reviewing architectural documents to ensure they are complete and ready for submission to clients and governing authorities for design and code compliance.

    The Project Manager will maintain open lines of communication with the project owner and all team members across various disciplines, ensuring smooth progress and successful project completion.

    Acting as PDG's representative, the Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact with the client and assume responsibility for the financial aspects of the divisional and overall project.

    The project manager is expected to effectively develop project teams and delegate tasks to ensure efficient execution of work.

    They should be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, understanding the scope and budget of each project, and devising strategies for successful completion from both the clients' and financial perspectives.

    Conflict resolution skills within the team are essential, and coordination and communication with team members at all levels are crucial for achieving success.

    It should be noted that assignments and supervisory responsibilities may vary over time.


    Responsibilities:
    Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner with co-workers, staff, project managers, other disciplines, and all other employees
    Responsible for all duties identified as part of Project Architect as well as all duties defined below
    Assist the Division Manager in determining project-staffing requirements.
    Understanding of internal manpower requirements for a project and how it relates to the assigned budget (including profit goals, overhead, and utilization rate)
    Will be the primary client contact for all assigned projects
    Will develop and provide the initial review of the contract between the client and PDG and will work with the company to ensure the contract is viable
    Will develop the fee for assigned projects and will review it with the Division Manager for approval
    Will develop the contract for all sub-consultants associated with assigned projects for review with the company
    Will develop the fee for all sub-consultants associated with assigned projects
    Needs to understand and implement the SEQRA process where applicable
    Develop a project schedule with obtainable tasks for the project team and meet those schedules
    Develop and mentor staff abilities
    Maintain and develop client relationships
    Support proposal development and attend interviews
    Report cash flow for contractor payment distribution
    Review monthly billing report and provide a cash flow report to the Division Manager
    Is capable of writing all architectural specifications and front end documents for assigned projects
    Coordinate with entire multi discipline team all workings of the project from design to financials and schedule
    Performs other duties as required

    Preferred Education, Certifications and general knowledge:


    • 5 year NAAB Accredited degree or equivalent education and work experience combination
    • 5-9+ Years' experience
    • Licensed Architect in the State of New York or Willingness to Transfer License within Reasonable Timeframe

    Salary Description

    $65,000 - $85,000
