    Overview:


    The Senior Cloud Security Architect, recognized as key personnel, is chiefly responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing the cloud security strategy within both on-premise and AWS cloud environments.

    This role is crucial for ensuring the security framework adheres to Zero Trust principles and meets the organization's strategic security goals.


    Responsibilities:


    Develop, document, and lead the implementation of the organization's cloud security strategy, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles and overall security policies.

    Oversee and recommend future upgrades to existing and new virtual private clouds to enhance security and functionality.
    Task Area 2 – Infrastructure and

    Cloud Engineering Support:
    Spearhead efforts to maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure, ensuring it supports the organization's strategic objectives and operational needs.
    Provide expert guidance and support to Network Systems Engineers, focusing on complex cloud infrastructure issues.
    Subtask 4.2.

    8 – Network Security and Patch Management:


    Contribute expertise to the routine patching of systems and the management of security measures, ensuring all cloud-hosted and on-premise systems meet the latest security standards.

    Qualifications:
    Must possess an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
    At least 10 years of experience in cloud and cybersecurity roles, focusing on strategy development and security architecture.
    Required to hold either a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
    At least one Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification is necessary.
    Must possess or be able to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.

    Tools and Technologies:
    Expert in AWS technologies and adept with other cloud platforms.
    Skilled in the design and implementation of security architectures that protect both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructures.

    Work Hours:
    Standard work hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
