Job summary
The production manager is an integral part of our team.The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production supervisors and planning department
Report and manage daily output while working any constraints that prevent the team from meeting targets
Sets expectations provides recourses audits performance counsels employees trains sets policies and practices to exceed department goals Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality Working with ERP implementation team to provide key input facilitate smooth execution implementation Ensures operations metrics are well known tracks daily progress towards achieving objectives mitigating risks Identifies establishes key performance indicators in production Manage report regular production forecasts Facilitate execute solutions to production stoppages Establish maintain AS 9100 required documentation procedures related manufacturing production Ensure compliance safety regulations promote culture safety within team Train mentor members identifying skill gaps providing opportunities professional development Collaborate cross-functional teams improve processes drive continuous improvement enhance overall operational efficiency Stay up-date industry trends advancements best practices aerospace electronics manufacturing Approve time cards employees maintain scheduling requirements staff approve time off requests accordance business needs Schedule deliver performance reviews meet regularly with employees support their needs provide tasking if required Report regularly manager leadership on statuses department developments All other duties assigned
- Bachelor's degree Aerospace Engineering Manufacturing Engineering related field.
- Proven experience aerospace wire harness manufacturing strong understanding IPC WHMA A-610 /620 standards AS9100 Rev D quality standards.
