    Comp Resource Group (CRG) has been retained by Dearing Veterinary Clinic, located in Abilene, TX the Panhandle Plains of Western Texas. Our Private practice clinic is in a growth mode due to Abilene's quality of life opportunity that presents a wide array of benefits for its citizens.

    We are looking to hire a DVM with the wants of being paid like an owner without the headaches of using their own money

    Residents can enjoy cultural events, a thriving arts scene, unique museums, sporting events, parks, children's activities, hunting, fishing and so much more. These combined with a low-cost of living, warm climate and a ten-minute commute time ensures those that move to Abilene, stay in Abilene.

    About the position:

    • Small animal medicine and surgery.
    • Fair amount of reproduction work. Shipped semen, TCI, Surgical insemination, etc.
    • Mostly dogs and cats. Occasional rabbit or turtles. Exotics available if interested.
    • Mon thru Thursday 8 to 6 with 1 hr lunch.
    • Friday 8 to 5 with 1 hour lunch
    • Surgery is fairly routine with spays, neuters, soft tissue as needed.
    • Some advance orthopedic work if interested.

    Compensation:

    • Salary 110,000 - $130,000 yearly compensation.
    • Profit sharing and Available buy in.
    • $1,500 CE allowance with 3 days PTO for CE.
    • Retirement Plan.
    • 6 major holidays, 6 days PTO per 6 months.
    • Professional fees... TVMA , AVMA, Abilene area VMA, TX license fee, DEA fee.
    • Insurance Professional Liability along with license defense.
    • $250 per month toward medical insurance.

    About the area:

    The Abilene area has a low crime rate. Minimal traffic. Many hunting and outdoor events.Major equine events at our coliseum. Most big city amenities without the crush. Cost of living is low. Housing is low compared to Dallas, Ft Worth, Austin.We are only a few hours drive from any of these big cities. Theaters , museums, and parks available. Excellent restuarants and some night life. Several lakes very short distance for boating, fishing, sail boarding, sailing, and just plain old swimming.
