Quality Engineer - Pampa, TX

Mortenson is looking for a Quality Engineer whose role involves overseeing quality control processes in specific project scopes collaborating with senior quality managers on larger projects managing monitoring reporting analyzing project quality performance leading corrective preventive actions in assigned scopes of work Responsibilities Foster strong teamwork orientation promote diversity build cross-cultural relationships resolve conflicts appropriately Serve technical resource guide project team staff incorporating Mortenson's quality system on projects Develop manage integrated plans assigned scopes of work partnering senior quality managers needed Implement Quality Management Plan notice proceed final acceptance oversee inspections ensure compliance contract documents Lead project activities manage Non-Conformance Notices Request Information process coordinate peer design reviews testing agencies Track expedite materials submittals document qualify closeout punch list identification process Seek self-development provide training share best practices identify opportunities enhance margin minimize risk Provide customer service enhance relationships capture share best practices identify opportunities enhance margin minimize risk Demonstrate business operations leadership consistent with Mortenson values promoting respectful environment healthy work life balance Qualifications Bachelor degree Construction Civil Architectural Engineering related field equivalent experience Minimum two years' experience within engineering construction industries Possess good mechanical aptitude knowledge use large cranes mechanical systems utility medium high voltage electrical systems Strong optical fiber installation standards best practices inside outside plant Understanding design bid-build process Self-starter independent worker computer literate Excellent interpersonal verbal written communication skills Strong teamwork orientation Basic knowledge construction processes systems management Current driver's license TravelQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Civil Architectural Engineering related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years' experience within engineering construction industries
