    Description

    TheDirect Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

    Brimstoneis a house with 10 wonderful women, who enjoy outings, cooking, crafting, dancing and singing. We range from 34 years to 90 years old. A pretty active bunch with so many abilities making them stand out from one another. Staff work together to build supports catered to each resident atBrimstoneby getting to know each individual.

    A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

    HOURS: 40 hours weekly - Monday - Friday, 8a-4p

    Starting Salary: $ $21.39 per hour plus any additional shift differentials as applicable

    Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED is preferred
    • Acceptable NYS Driver's License
    • Computer skills
