$40 - $50 Hourly ( Based on Experience )

Job Summary:
As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes. Your expertise in CNC, distributed control systems, and industrial maintenance will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Duties:
Develop and implement PLC programs to control and monitor machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to identify and resolve issues
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and modify control systems
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of PLC systems to ensure optimal performance
Experience working with and troubleshooting 4-20ma and 0-10v control circuits
Calibrate precision measuring instruments used in the programming process
Collaborate with the Industrial Electrician to install and wire electrical components
Test and validate new or modified PLC programs before implementation
Experience:
Proven experience as a PLC Programmer or similar role
Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Variable Frequency Drive (VFC)
Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures
Experience working with process installation devices
Proficiency in reading ladder logic electrical schematics and diagrams
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect and resolve issues efficiently
Strong understanding of logic controllers and their application in industrial settings
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in programming tasks
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
