Seeking subs for elementary education, specifically Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4. Substitute teachers must have teaching capabilities in multiple areas, the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students, the ability to address the various learning styles of students, and the ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies. Substitute teachers are called on an as needed basis and may be needed for one day, one week or a long term position. Substitute teachers arrive by 8AM, with classes beginning at 8:30AM, and generally ending by 3:30PM.

**Summary**
Roycemore School is currently seeking a part-time teacher for our Lower School Extended Day program for the school year. Now in its 105th year, Roycemore is a highly regarded, coeducational independent school for students from 3 years old through 12th grade. Located in Evanston, Illinois, on the north side of Chicago, Roycemore enjoys a long-standing relationship with Northwestern University.
**Responsibilities**
The teacher should possess a holistic view of children, and an understanding of the developmental issues of Lower School children. The assistant will work with small groups and individual students, creating and implementing programs for elementary students after school.
**Required Qualifications**
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Prepare materials and classroom for extended day
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate

**Responsibilities**
Provide data from FACTS/RenWeb and Active to the QuickBooks financial system and reconcile the data between the systems.
Participate in all levels of A/R, A/P and monthly bank and credit card reconciliation and preparation of monthly financial statements.
Facilitate and analyze the entry of all A/R (invoices/credits) from FACTS/RenWeb into QuickBooks and reconciles monthly between systems.
Track and reports on Summer Camp A/R from the Active system.
In partnership with the Director of Finance and Operations, maintain daily, monthly and yearly progress reports that can be used for historical data for YTD comparisons and inputting into NAIS DASL and NBOA BIIS
Provide support for annual financial audit process
Responsible for inputting/maintaining accurate data regarding current and new students including grades, credits, test scores, attendance, and other student information into the FACTS/RenWeb and responding to inquiries related to this information
Responsible for setting up master course schedule in FACTS/RenWeb, monitoring/updating master schedule information and assisting division heads in scheduling students
Coordinates with Admissions and Business Office the processing of re-enrollment contracts, updating of student records and emailing re-enrollment acceptance letters to families; and processing of new enrollment contracts, updating of student records and emailing acceptance letters to families; performs final distribution of Financial Aid communication via FACTS/RenWeb
Tracks student graduation requirements and works collaboratively with faculty, administration and college counseling in the production and dissemination of report cards and transcripts for all students
Coordinates with the Admissions, Business Office and Advancement office to assure the accuracy and consistency of data between systems.
Responsible for inputting/maintaining accurate data regarding Summer Camp current and new campers in ActiveWorks; managing changes in registrations and processing billing and refunds, providing needed weekly reports for camp counselors/directors
Responds to inquiries and requests for student academic information records for transfers and transcripts; maintains permanent student records including enrollment, academic, personal and withdrawal information
Provides support for electronic mailings and the maintenance of the student/family directory
Support system updates and changes as required.
**Experience, Qualifications & Attributes**
Bachelors degree in accounting or computer science or related/commensurate experience
Proven ability and strong knowledge of technology, systems and relational databases: FACTS/RenWeb, ActiveWorks, QuickBooks and G-Suite preferred
Strong analytical skills as it relates to business processes and data
Well organized, able to change work focus quickly, constantly and efficiently; able to handle many demands simultaneously with minimal supervision and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and oral, especially as part of a team
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

**Preferred Experience**
Solid understanding of general accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, with proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting data and financial records
Exceptional people skills, professional personal presentation and ability to communicate effectively with all constituents in a school environment
**Physical Requirements and Work Environment**
Regularly sit, talk, hear and interact with students, parents, staff and visitors
