Interim Audit Preparation Consultant
Our client, a rapid-growth consumer health and nutrition company, is seeking an Interim Audit Preparation Consultant to support external audit readiness and related technical accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, managing communication, timelines, and audit requests.
Lead preparation of audit deliverables, including PBC schedules and supporting documentation.
Maintain and track the audit request list to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
Prepare and review roll-forwards, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Support technical accounting matters and assist with IFRS-related reporting needs.
Assist with purchase price accounting and post-acquisition accounting activities.
Partner with internal teams to strengthen audit-ready processes and documentation standards.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve audit efficiency and streamline close processes.
Extract and prepare financial data from QuickBooks and other relevant systems for audit use.
Support ad hoc audit and accounting projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
5-10+ years of accounting experience, including significant audit preparation or audit?heavy roles.
Strong experience managing audit workflows and coordinating external audits.
Solid understanding of IFRS, roll-forwards, and technical accounting concepts.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to:
The individual's skill sets, experience, and training;
Licensure and certifications;
Office location and other geographic considerations;
Other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco by Highspring notes that the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
