School Psychologist (Hybrid)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide hybrid school psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation. This position is ideal for a professional who is experienced in school psychology and is comfortable working independently within a school environment and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing various emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
  • Develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessments, interventions, and communications.
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid and active license as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessments, IEPs, and behavior management strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with crisis intervention and behavior management in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with various educational software tools.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

  • This is a 1099 contractual position. Independent contractors will be responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
