Overview

TalentFish is casting a line for a Security Engineer. This is a hybrid direct hire role in Schaumburg, IL.

What You Bring to the Role.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in information security or equivalent experience managing various aspects of security such as identity management, firewalls, security awareness SaaS platforms, and working with managed security providers providing SIEM/firewall support.
• Any GIAC Certification above entry level
• GCIH, Cloud Security certifications, MDR Certifications with vendors, any GIAC Certification is preferred
• Experience in deploying zero-trust network access products and supporting it is preferred
• Must have or equivalent, Knowbe4, Mumecast, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Crowdstrike and 2Scaler + Palo Alto Fire Walls
• What You'll Do.Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in information security.
• Experience translating penetration test results into actionable plans.
• Proficiency in firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
• Strong understanding of network vulnerabilities and patch management.
• Preferred Qualifications:GCIH, Cloud Security, or MDR certifications.
• Experience deploying zero-trust network access products.
• Specialist certifications in GIAC above entry level.
