    Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technicians in Forest Park, GA. The Diesel Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for timely repair and maintenance of medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

    Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday

    Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm

    What the Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

    • Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
    • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to medium duty to heavy duty tractors
    • Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
    • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

    What our ideal candidate looks like:

    • 5+ years of professional diesel engine repair experience
    • Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King) a PLUS
    • 608/609 Certifications preferred
    • Must have valid Driver's License
    • Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
    • Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word and Email
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
