We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pest Control Technician Team Lead to join our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of pest control duties, including identifying pest species and infestations, and applying pesticides.
The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of pest control and the laws regarding hazardous materials used for pest control.

Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for pest control projects.Adhere to pest control codes, laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior pest control technicians.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Coordinate with suppliers to procure pest control materials and equipment.

Reports any unsafe acts, conditions and hazards to direct supervisor/manager immediatelyReports any contravention of legislation or company policy, procedure or program to direct supervisor/manager immediatelyCorrects substandard acts or conditions within area of controlUses and maintains appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Pest Control Technician or similar role. 5-10 years.
Management/Supervisory experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of pest control codes, regulations, and best practices.
Strong understanding of pest control systems, materials, and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Valid pest control license/certification.
Valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
This position involves physical labor and may require working in confined spaces or at heights.
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
May be required to work in hazardous environments or with potentially dangerous materials.
