    ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY

    LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism - from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Under the direction of the Retail Operations Corporate Team, the Retail Operations Intern will participate in all aspects of Retail's daily needs including, but not limited to, granting Systems Access, processing retail systems support needs, assisting in executing new store opening tasks, and executing adhoc reports. This candidate will learn all the ins and outs of the retail business and work alongside the Retail Operations Team and other retail departments to support the smooth operation of all Retail Channels.

    This internship requires you to be in NYC and be able to receive school credit for the internship as it is UNPAID.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Spend time in our LoveShackFancy stores to understand current processes, as well as the store associate and consumer experience.
    • Work with relevant stakeholders to gather relevant data to perform ROI analysis where applicable
    • Assist in Teamwork Set Up for new employees
    • Process Retail Supply Orders
    • Facilitate gift card/ tore credit maintenance - (distribution to stores)
    • Occasionally testing of new Retail systems
    • Log weekly invoices
    • Print weekly reports for executive team
    • Draft weekly Round-Up (compile all communication from all Retail departments)
    • Assist with Store Operations initiatives and projects i.e. new store openings, store maintenance upkeep, and renovations.
    • Aid in the bi-annual Physical Inventory
    • Support the Retail Team in daily tasking
    • Adhoc Reporting
    • Maintenance of Retail Calendar

    • Highly proficient with MS Office
    • Be able to take initiative
    • Retail experience is a plus
