**BASIC FUNCTION** To serve all food and beverage in a professional and courtesy manner. Ability to answer all questions in regard to Food and Beverage to ensure guests are educated properly and promote the best bar experience possible. Product knowledge as it pertains to standard cocktail recipes and strict adherence to overall bar cleanliness.

Location Mountain View, California Compensation $17.80 / hour Department Restaurant Employment Type Full Time ** Key Responsibilities**

Preparing alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.

Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks.

Assessing customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations

Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.

Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Handle all guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.

Complete knowledge of the dining room/bar menu

Complete knowledge of the wine by the glass program, beer selections, and overall liquors

Ability to use POS system in an efficient manner

Ability to independently problem solve issues that arise in the bar

Efficient and responsible cash handling abilities

Complete knowledge of the dining room/bar menu

Maximize revenue potential by using proper selling techniques

Ensure that all bar areas are kept clean and presentable

Resume and proven working experience as a bartender.

Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
