    The FA will be responsible for managing and executing the office's budget, offering budgetary guidance to officers, and fostering positive relationships within the team.

    This role requires excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    As a member of the Finance Resource Team, the FA will play a critical role in delivering mission value and providing superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

    Complete DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the FA will be to manage, maintain, and execute the office's overall budget, providing financial and budgetary guidance to officers.

    The FA will need to demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, and integration skills while working with other contractors and personnel. Building and maintaining positive and cooperative relationships will be crucial to the success of the FA in this role. Meeting schedules within budget constraints is also a key aspect of the job. The core hours for this role are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
    Responsible for addressing the financial and budgetary needs of potential candidates/applicants.
    Work under pressure, facing short deadlines and competing priorities.
    Maintaining a calm and professional demeanor is essential.

    Monitor the execution of the budget and maintain spend plans, providing status updates on expense rates to ensure budget compliance.

    Lead efforts in identifying opportunities for financial efficiencies and process improvements.
    Examine and update existing SOPs, handbooks, and guides to meet constant process changes within the organization.
    Assist officers in creating requests using financial systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    Prepare and update spend plans using COGNOS Trend reports with high accuracy and attention to detail.
    Provide intermediate to expert-level support in financial systems, including funding, SLAs, and price estimates.

    Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in daily interactions with officers and mission partners, addressing their financial needs effectively.

    Intermediate to expert level of experience with financial systems (funding, SLAs, price estimates).Basic to intermediate experience in the preparation of financial documents (vouchers, travel, funding, SLAs, etc.).Basic to intermediate experience and knowledge of finance policies/regulations.

    Superior customer service and the delivery of mission value.

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and mission-focused, with proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Preferred Requirements Prior experience with systems and customer service.
    Familiarity with COGNOS and other budget and finance tools.
