    • JB Echocardiograph TechnologistPortland, ORFull-Time (Onsite) Day ShiftSign On BonusRelocation Assistance AvailableThe Echocardiograph Technologist performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment.
    Objectively identifies the presence or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

    Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo-guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo-guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast-enhanced exams, exercise, and pharmacological stress echocardiography.

    Has the ability to modify procedures, to meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis.
    This position requires shared coverage for stand-by and call-back emergency studies in the evenings and weekends. This may include shared regional coverage to other Portland facilities and or rotation through staffed weekend shifts.

    National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International OrUpon hire:
    National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or Upon hire:
    National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical SonographyUpon hire:
    National Provider BLS
    • American Heart AssociationPreferred:Associate's Degree in Applied Science, from a CAAHPE accredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
    1 year of experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations, ORMinimum of 800 exams using all imaging modalities available.
    Pediatric echocardiography experience.
    Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart failure patients (mechanical support devices).Experience with echo-guided trans-catheter procedures.
