    NASSAU COUNTY - Live-in cases available on a 3-4 day basis


    Alvita Care is seeking top-notch caregivers who have experience with live-in cases in Suffolk County, Long Island. Alvita Care clients are all private-pay and we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid. We provide relief and assurance to family members in the areas of In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative and hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management and have earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have a valid HHA / PCA certificate in the state of New York
    • Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain
    • Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Statement
    • Must complete Alvita Care onboarding process to accept cases
    DETAILS:
    • Live-ins available on a 3 to 4-day basis; no 7-day live-ins available at this time
    • Must have at least one Saturday or one Sunday available
    • Varying schedule needs in Glen Cove, Oyster Bay, Port Washington, & Great Neck starting ASAP
    • Patient transfer experience and comfortability are a plus
    • Weekly paycheck on Fridays (direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check options available)
    • $ /hourly (over-time is paid at 1.5X your agreed rate on any hours that exceed 40 each week)

    All applicants are subject to a phone screening to determine compatibility and overall availability of accommodations for both the caregiver and the agency. Please note that cases with Alvita Care are only available to caregivers who complete the onboarding process and attend/complete orientation.

    • $250 referral bonus for any live-in caregiver referred to the company that woks - inquire for additional terms and details (must be employed with Alvita Care and in good standing to receive bonus)

    subject to one-year employment and 1,560 hours worked (30 hours / week average)
