ITU AbsorbTech is hiring a Production Supervisor to join our 2nd shift team in New Berlin, WI

Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for producing all products in the quantities needed in accordance with the company's quality policy, while operating within the expense budget. In this role, you are also responsible for training, supervision, and discipline of the production employees in accordance with all policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Produce all products in the proper quantities for scheduled deliveries and of the proper quality while operating within the expense budget.
Work with maintenance to keep machinery and equipment well maintained, up-to-date technologically and in adequate quantity for capacity requirements.
Ensure employees are working in accordance with our environmental (air and water) permits.
Continually initiate cost savings project ideas.
Appraise, coach and train subordinate personnel to help them achieve goals and performance requirements.
Maintain proper and effective utilization of staffing, equipment, material, space and other resources.
Provide recognition and feedback to increase the effectiveness of production employees.
Develop goals and specific targets for production area.
Review monthly P & L and Daily and Weekly Operations Summary.

2nd Shift Schedule: 1:30pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday. There may be occasional shift changes, depending on business needs.

Pay: $55,000-$63,000 a year, depending on experience.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma is required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Recent college grads encouraged to apply Individual should have strong communication and organizational skills.

About ITU AbsorbTech

ITU AbsorbTech was founded in 1908 as an industrial laundry company. Now, based in New Berlin, WI, it's one of the oldest family-owned industrial laundries in the country. We have 15 facilities across the eastern US, servicing thousands of manufacturers by providing reusable uniforms, mops, towels, and mats. Since the mid-1990s, we've been the top choice in environmental services by offering launderable absorbents, replacing disposable products. Each year, we recover over 200,000 gallons of oil and solvents from our customers' used products.
