    Advocates for Life Skills & Opportunity (ALSO) is dedicated to advancing the mission of promoting the full inclusion of individuals experiencing Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) into the fabric of their communities.

    Job Overview:


    As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directly contributing to the support and care of individuals with I/DD.

    You will lead a dynamic team, providing training, scheduling, mentoring, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and being a leader is providing person centered services.

    This multifaceted position requires a unique blend of managerial skills, hands-on direct care experience, and a passion for fostering inclusivity.


    Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage a team of dedicated support professionals.

    Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the highest standards of care.

    Develop and implement effective scheduling strategies to optimize team efficiency.


    Direct Care:
    Provide hands-on direct care to individuals with I/DD, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment.

    Act as a role model for the team, demonstrating best practices in care and support.


    Performance Management:
    Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    Implement strategies to enhance team performance and individual professional development.


    Compliance and Financial Oversight:
    Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and organizational policies.

    Reconcile expenses, manage budgets, and contribute to financial planning.


    Community Engagement:
    Collaborate with case managers, parents, health representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic support.

    Represent the organization in meetings and events related to community inclusion.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience in people management.

    Direct care experience with individuals experiencing I/DD.

    Ability to balance managerial responsibilities with direct care involvement.

    Valid Driver's License.
