Description

Key Technology in Walla Walla, WA is a leading global company specializing in food processing technology. As an innovative industrial manufacturing company, we enhance control and efficiency in processing various food items. We are currently seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join our Hardware and Reliability Engineering department. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing technical manuals, documents, and documentation kits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fulfilling Work Orders for the Technical Publications Department
CD burning and assembly of software and technical documentation
Printing and assembling technical manuals and other documents for shipment
Gathering materials from Receiving and Stock Room
Inventory of document production materials
Ordering necessary supplies
Creating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

Additional tasks may involve assisting Technical Writers as needed.

GENERAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

Computer Skills: Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro and MadCap Flare
Strong organization and self-management abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Job Requirements: Candidates should have knowledge of navigating project drives and files in Microsoft Explorer, as well as basic tasks in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Adobe FrameMaker and MadCap Flare is beneficial. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions independently are essential.
Workdays offer flexibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent with related experience and/or training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Activities include sitting, standing, walking, talking, using hands, and occasional climbing and working at heights. Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required for this role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office-based position with occasional visits to the manufacturing area. Exposure to moving parts and occasional fumes may occur. Noise level varies.
