- Evaluate tax implications of enterprise-wide transactions.
- Coordinate tax aspects with legal counsel for business transactions.
- Lead and develop federal tax planning team members.
- Work closely with tax reporting and controversy teams on planning initiatives and federal tax audits.
- Provide oversight and planning for federal tax credit programs.
- Expertise in U.S. federal corporate income tax law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex tax issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large projects across different organizational lines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical matters.
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- CPA or Juris Doctor qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of tax experience in public companies, accounting, or law firms.
- Postgraduate degree in Tax or related field.
- 8+ years of federal tax planning experience.
- Experience in financial institution taxation and complex financial transactions.
- Knowledge of U.S. partnership income tax law.
- Familiarity with income tax accounting rules and federal tax credit programs.
