    Exciting Opportunity:
    Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    Job Description:

    • Join a dynamic team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and play a pivotal role in patient care
    • Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.
    • Support fellow imaging technologists to ensure smooth patient flow.
    • Exhibit flexibility by working different shifts and at various campuses based on needs.
    • Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and participate in quality assurance.
    • Engage in ongoing education and stay updated on safety and technical advances.
    • Adhere to radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
    • Complete daily logs and periodic tests in compliance with licensing requirements.
    • Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting staff growth and engagement.
    • Ensure exceptional satisfaction for physicians by providing reliable assistance.
    • Adapt assessment and care methods to meet diverse patient needs.
    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
    • Comply with all policies and standards of care as mandated by regulatory bodies.
    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the PACS system.
    • Act as a PACS Superuser, handling downtime procedures effectively.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to management or Biomedical personnel.
    • Be ready to take on additional duties as assigned with enthusiasm

    Job Requirements:

    • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
    • Experience: 1 year in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred.
    • Skills: Basic computer experience required.
    • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required.
    • Texas State Licensure: MRT by TMB required.
    • BLS Certification (AHA only) required.

    Work Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday: 7AM to 5PM (may extend based on caseload).
