Components Engineer - Tonawanda

Job summary
You will support the fabrication inspection and shop testing of compressor and turbine packages Test and verify correct operation of lubrication oil systems seal gas systems auto-valves etc You will ensure the package is fabricated in accordance with project design documentation Review and ensure all project quality documentation is correct Oversee shop disassembly and field reassembly of the package Lastly you will troubleshoot shop and/or field problems
- You will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology Demonstrated experience mechanical aptitude/skills with construction drawings basic hand tools knowledge of each machine s working parts working with contractors strong leadership written verbal communication organization planning proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Domestic international travel up to 75% Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Project
