Looking for a dedicated leader to join our Facilities Technician team at our Bay Club Resort located in Ocean City MD Work Type Full-time year-round Salaried.
Responsibilities
- Responds and attends to guest repair requests
- Communicates with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues < li >Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment including cleaning lubrication Carries equipment e.g tools radio Identifies locates operates all shut-off valves for equipment utility shut-offs buildings Maintains maintenance inventory requisition parts supplies needed Assures each days activities problems communicated other shifts approved communication programs standards Displays thorough knowledge building systems emergency response building documentation reading standard blueprints electrical schematics concerning plumbing HVAC Displays advanced engineering operations skills general mechanical ability Display professional journeyman level expertise three areas basic skills remaining air conditioning refrigeration electrical plumbing carpentry finish skills mechanical general building management pneumatic electronic systems controls energy conservation Displays solid knowledge skill safe use hand power tools materials required perform repair tasks Safely performs highly complex repairs physical property electrical plumbing mechanical equipment air conditioners refrigeration pool heaters ensuring methods materials practices meet company standards local national codes little supervision Performs routine inspections entire property noting safety hazards lack illumination down equipment ice makers fans extractors pumps take immediate corrective action Inspect repair all mechanical equipment appliances HVAC electrical plumbing components diagnose boiler pumps related components Uses Lockout/Tagout system performing any maintenance work Displays thorough knowledge maintenance contracts vendors Advanced troubleshooting hotel Mechanical Electrical Plumbing MEP systems Act supervisory role absence supervisors management Ability Engineer Duty responsibilities readings rounds training scheduling evaluating counseling disciplining motivating coaching Team members Key Duties Accountabilities < ul style=" list-style-type: none ">< li >Displays advanced engineering operations skills general mechanical ability < li>Evident professional journeyman level expertise three following areas basic skills remaining air conditioning refrigeration electrical carpentry finish skills mechanical general building pneumatic electronic system controls energy conversation Reports work related accidents other injuries immediately occurrence completing incident report alerting HR Management Follows policies procedures safe operation storage tools equipment machines Identifies corrects unsafe work procedures conditions report them management security safety personnel Follows property specific procedures handling emergency situations evacuations medical emergencies natural disasters Uses proper equip wear appropriate PPE employ correct lifting procedures avoid injury Maintains daily logs operation maintenance safety activities test results instrument readings details equipment malfunctions maintenancetasks Reports serious maintenancproblems unusual findings safety hazards immediately manager supervisor Maintains proper maintenanceloginventory requisition parts suppliesneeded Identifies locates operates shutdownvalvesforequipmentutilityshutoffsbuiltinsMaintainpropermaintinaceinventoryandrequisitonpartssuppliesasneeded.
