    PRIMARY FUNCTION

    The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for budgeting and forecasting, monthly variance analysis, and providing financial insights to help drive key business decisions.

    This role will work closely with other teams within the organization, including finance, accounting, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Budgeting and Forecasting (40%)
    Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

    Provide guidance to business partners on budget and forecast preparation and ensure adherence to budget and forecast guidelines and timelines.

    Analyze financial results against budgets and forecasts and identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
    Conduct regular reviews of budgets and forecasts to ensure they are aligned with business objectives and market trends.
    Communicate budget and forecast updates and results to senior management and provide recommendations on actions to improve financial performance.

    Continuously evaluate and improve the budgeting and forecasting process to increase accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business goals and objectives.

    Financial Analysis and Reporting (40%)
    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
    Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
    Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.
    Leading and assisting project teams with financial guidance, projections, and modeling.
    Performing ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
    Accounting and Compliance (20%)
    Work closely with the accounting team on month-end close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

    Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

    Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
    Support the accounting team as needed on the remittance process.

    SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
    5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
    Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling · Knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
    Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Proven leadership skills to independently conduct and recommend valuable financial analysis.
    Ability to work as part of a team to foster a collaborative environment.
    Initiative to gain insights and implement process improvements and efficiencies where needed
